Don’t hesitate to contact us in advance if you have high dependency needs, questions about accessing performances, or any other enquiries that are not answered below.
Blue Badge Car Parking
We have a small Blue Badge parking area operating on a road near the entrance. Spaces are limited, there are only 40 spaces. In order to be able to park you will need a parking ticket with a QR code.
In order to obtain this you must send proof of your entry ticket purchase and a copy of your blue badge to info@thefestivalcrowd.com
If you miss out on a car park space and it’s essential you drive to the event, Lewisham will allow Blue Badge holders to park in bays marked ‘Disabled’ or ‘Pay and Display’ for an unlimited time.
Please note your Badge must be in date and must display your picture.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are located within our events on Blackheath , the Welfare Tent, and each toilet block. These will be indicated on the Access Map.
Seating
There is seating in the VIP areas for anyone with a VIP ticket.
Chairs will not be allowed to be bought into the event.
If seating is compulsory to your enjoyment of the event due to medical circumstances there is a small viewing platform.
Hidden Disabilities
We understand that a hidden disability is not immediately apparent. If you would like support or advice once inside the festival, our Welfare Manager will be the main point of contact and is based at the Welfare tent. Or don’t hesitate to contact us in advance with your questions to info@thefestivalcrowd.com.
Personal Assistance/Carer Tickets
We offer free PA or carer tickets for those who require assistance, subject to a £5 process booking fee. These tickets are available with a +1 on your Access Card or registration. Please note that applications for PA/Carer Tickets close two weeks before the event.
Carer tickets are only available for standard admission and do not include access to VIP areas, as these areas do not have accessible facilities such as toilets. The accessible viewing platform, toilets, and other facilities can be found in the standard festival area.
If you wish to purchase a VIP ticket for a carer, it will be charged at the full ticket price.
If you don’t have an Access Card, you can still apply for free registration to our events or obtain a full Access Card here https://app.accesscard.online/apply/thefestivalcrowd/. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, email us at info@thefestivalcrowd.com with proof of purchase, the event name, and your Access Card/registration details to receive your free PA ticket.
Terms and conditions:
You will need to enter the event via the accessible que lane where you will be issued wristbands.
The name on the ticket must match the access card/registration and you may be asked to provide this/ID on entry to the event.
PA/Carer must enter and leave the venue with the person they are assisting and be with them for the duration of the event.
Any additional support on the day can be obtained by going to the welfare tent or by showing your band to security.
PA tickets are not issued on a first come first serve basis but cannot be legally issued if the event is sold out, so it is imperative that you obtain your ticket and Access card at your earliest convenience.
